The
mission of the Black Barbershop Health Outreach Program is to increase public
awareness about health care disparities in under-served communities through
culturally specific education, research and community based programs. Our goal
is to empower the African-American community to better understand various
diseases, their complications as well as the standard of care they deserve
as it relates to prevention and management.
