Pamela Springer Announces The Release Of The Global Skin Solutions Skincare Line

Global Skin Solutions was developed by Pamela Springer, founder of the Skin & Makeup Institute of Arizona and Arizona NASN - National Aesthetic Spa Network director.

She developed the line because people of certain ethnic descent; Middle Eastern, Hispanic, Asian or African skins need products and services that address their unique skincare needs. Global Skin Solutions products were only previously available for the professional and now she has created these beautiful kits for client home use up-keep in between appointments.

  Blemish Control Rescue Kit

Get flawless skin. The Blemish Control Rescue Kit tackles oil build up and clogged pores with ingredients that significantly reduces breakouts.

 Natural Radiance System

The most challenging skin disorder for women and men of ethnic descent, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, Asian or African skins is hyperpigmentation which may be a result of trauma, inflammation, irritation, insect bites or other inflammatory skin disorders such as acne, dermatitis, etc.

The Natural Radiance System  focuses on evening-out skin tones and fading unsightly dark spots and discolorations. With regular use the skin will reveal a smoother, more radiated complexion.

Support for Master Barber Q

Let's show our support for Master Barber Q, who was shot in Oakland a few weeks back. Q, is an Artistic Barber coming to the West Coast in 2004. I had the pleasure of meeting Q at the Icons of Beauty class in July and was truly impressed with his quality of education, dedication and love for the industry. Hair Klaash will be showing support by putting up a donation box at the show. We ask that everyone attending 'PLEASE' make a contribution no matter the amount to help Q with medical and personal expenses. It's hard enough being off work 1 day let alone weeks if not months. Lets get behind a worthy cause and let Q know he has his industry's support. — with SanDreka Williams, Daniel Moses Presents, GlamSity BeautyBar, Mona Polk, Roxanne S Jones, Madrid Johnson, Jamia Hope, Nenatte Gage, Teresa Washington, Lisa Lunsford-Anderson, Pharoah Brand, Alishia Cummings and Ada Wright.

What does it mean to succeed?

What does it mean to succeed?

Most people see success as being rich and famous or powerful and influential. Others see it as a being on top of their profession and standing out from the rest. The wise see success in a more personal way. They see it as achieving the goal they have set for themselves and then feeling pride and satisfaction in their accomplishments. True success is felt in the heart, not measured by money and power. So be true to yourself and achieve the goals you set. For success is reaching those goals and feeling power of what you have accomplished.

400 YEARS WITHOUT A COMB Beauty Documentary Coming To BOBSA Soon

For over thousands of years the world's first human beings have created beauty implements. One journey however was not accompanied with their comb. It would be four centuries before Africans in North America would see their comb again. It was through the hands of one man that the west would produce the most powerful and diverse beauty movement in the history of mankind.
African Americans who dared to invent, create and dream of a culture that could thrive on pride and self-worth. Little did they know the art of hair care would take generations of Black Americans from rags to riches and influence just about every beauty trend in the history of the modern world.

This is the story how through the most horrific inhumane living conditions and treatment, Black Americans became the world's greatest beauty trendsetters and the world's most profitable beauty industry the world has ever known.
